Convention Bureau Terre Ducali and SG Company won the tender for the design and organization of the two opening and closing ceremonies of the 16th edition of the European Youth Olympic Festival 2023 in Friuli Venezia Giulia (EYOF2023). The two ceremonies were held in Trieste and Udine.
The European Youth Olympic Festival was first launched in 1990 and is the first European high-level multi-sport event aimed at young people. The opening ceremony took place in Piazza Unità d'Italia in Trieste on 21 January 2023, while the closing ceremony took place on 28 January 2023 in one of the pavilions of Udine and Gorizia Fiere, in Martignacco in the province of Udine, with the participation of around 1600 athletes from all over Europe.
Convention Bureau Terre Ducali and Sinergie, a company of the SG Company group, took care of creative concept of both ceremonies, production, operations cooperating with the EYOF2023 Friuli Venezia Giulia Organizing Committee.
